The description on our chocolate yule log as “a chocolate sponge swiss roll filled with chocolate buttercream and chocolate flavour sauce, covered in milk chocolate and rich chocolate flavour fudge icing” seems to overuse the word chocolate somewhat.

6 foot by 2 foot, pine.

It’s been a while, but it’s a good guess.

I have the impression abstract posts are likely to be decidedly confusing. Please request if explanation is desired, required or useful.

I like it when songs remind you of people.

When I look at the stars, I see someone else.

Oh, and random comments rock. Thank you!

P.S. A further yey for Blogger sorting out their date/time formats for comments/posts so posted at times make sense!

Firefox 1.5

Just over a week ago the new Firefox came out. Having written something here earlier I noticed something was wrong with the way this site was being displayed. I hope that I’ve fixed it now, things look OK to me in Internet Explorer and Firefox. I’m still working on getting things right in Opera and Safari, hopefully it works serviceably well.

An unfortunate effect of this might be breaking of the site in pre-1.5 versions of Firefox. If anything looks strange try refreshing, or let me know, especially if you’ve ideas on how to fix it. Thank you!

Michaelmas 2005…

…has ended! The last term has been truly awesome, I’ll miss many people who I’ve seen practically every day for the past two months but I have a lot of work to do and there are still many people around. There’s lots to tell, much of it very funny. Perhaps I’ll write a bit more about it over Christmas, for now I’m suffering the consequences of my bad packing and need to start on a few things I’ve been putting off for a while.

I leave you with a couple of photos taken by Rachel of a rainbow at Emma during the Fusion end of term brunch.
