Si’s commissioning

Yesterday I went to see Si being comissioned for a year with YFC which was rather good. I got a lift after lectures with the Proffitts to Coventry Cathedral, which is a rather inspiring place. I really love the big tablets on the wall!

The service was rather cool, there were a lot more people there than I had expected, many many different teams and groups starting something for the year. Meal at Pizza Hut afterwards was good as well, the bit of Coventry we went to seemed to have been done up and looked good. I didn’t get to see much when I went to look round with Chris as Warwick is quite a way out of the city.

Seeing Si again was very cool, it’s very strange not to see him every day nearly, but uni has been plenty busy to keep me occupied, it was less fun when I was sat at home everyone else having left for uni already! I passed the TV shop we used to stand and talk outside for ages the other day, which made me think how much Si rocked. At least he’ll be here next year, though I don’t see much of Chris and he’s not very far away….

On a final note, Helen didn’t think too much of the new Delirious? single, and having just listened to the charts her analysis seemed rather indicative of the resuylt—I either missed it or it didn’t chart. I kept missing bits as people came in and I wasn’t paying too much attention.
